Back arrow Reflection

During my time in the Adobe Visual class, I have learned many new things, including industry-specific terms and concepts, color theory, design principles, and how to utilize Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Overall, I had a fun time. It was really interesting to figure out how different tools and effects work, and I feel like I improved my art skills, too. Before I started this class, I knew how to use Photoshop a little, but throughout the class, I just kept getting surprised or going "Wait, I didn't know you could do that!" when learning a new tool or a function.

I'm not sure where I will use these new skills yet. If I can, I would love to take the second Adobe Visual class. In the future, if I get an opportunity to work as a designer for a company, I could take it because of these skills. Currently, I have been using my Photoshop skills to make YouTube thumbnails, and I sometimes use Illustrator to design simple graphics. For example, I used Illustrator to design the back arrow for this website.

There is still some time to decide which pathway I will go to, and even if it's not going to be visual design one, these skills are really nice to have, especially in the current time.
